The AZAdvances Today Fund™ is a current use fund designed to accept donations from the community and distributions from the AZAdvances Legacy Fund. The AZAdvances Today Fund will distribute grants and mission related investments based on the needs of the life science ecosystem and the projects that have the greatest potential for future impact in accordance with our mission and as directed by the AZAdvances Board of Trustees.
The AZAdvances Legacy Fund™ is a long-term, evergreen endowment designed to grow the core capital and make annual distributions into the AZAdvances Today Fund. It is expected that distributions from the endowment will be approximately 5% of the core capital each year. All equity from mission related investments will be held in the endowment until they mature.
D3Bio supports Arizona’s life science community entrepreneurial programs and programs for students with a focus on the life science sector. Since the first Student Discovery Zone in 2011, over 1,000 Arizona students have had the opportunity to connect with industry leaders “in the Zone”.
OTEF Entrepreneurial Education programs provide support and educational opportunities to the general population with an emphasis on providing at-risk populations with a pathway to sustainability through entrepreneurship.
